Storm tropical Tomas
Tomas tropical storm was located near 12.9 degrees north latitude and 59.5 degrees ouest.Tomas moves to 24 kilometres by heure.Tomas contour is expected to become a hurricane major East of Jamaica Thursday.
The meteorological service of the Jamaica provides this general trend should continue with a gradual decrease of speed before tonight and tomorrow.
On the forecast track, Tomas centre will pass through the islands of the North wind today and enter in the East the Caribbean Sea by tonight.
Maximum sustained winds have increased by nearly 110 km/h, with gusts supérieures.Renforcement is planned for the next 48 hours and Tomas should now become a hurricane.
