The Nintendo Store in Manhattan was the venue, hosting a celebratory event for Mario‘s 25th anniversary. Miyamoto, Mazza’s creator, was there, along with Gardikis who was tasked with performing his much-practised five-minute completion of SMB1 on NES.
What would have been his greatest moment became his worst nightmare. Things start well, but the pressure gets to Gardikis in world 4 with some noob deaths shunning him to the Game Over screen. Later, a few impressive feats of skill keep crowds interested, only for them to witness more epic fail.
